REASON FOR LOSS:


Leutnant. Kleinebesel and crew were dispatched on a reconnaissance sortie over enemy lines. During this mission they were attacked by French fighters and their Do 17P received numerous hits with damage to the rudder and other flying surfaces, Leutnant. Kleinebesel managed to safely return to base.
