REASON FOR LOSS:


This aircraft ditched in the Channel after an attack by night fighter, possibly the aircraft claimed by No.219 Sqdn. Thomas Luczyk was killed in the attack and his body was recovered. Uffz. Frank and the remainder of the crew were picked up safely by the Seenotdienst.
