REASON FOR LOSS:

This aircraft was attacked by fighters flown by F/O Ostraszewski of No.609 Squadron and P/O Zurakowski of No.234 Squadron. Messerschmitt was badly damaged in the attacks and the pilot made a good forced landing.

RAF intelligence reported the following details; Markings: B in yellow, Red and white design on nose. Engines DB 601 made at Genshagen-Kr. Armament: Four MG17, two 20 mm cannon, and one MG15. The unit was deduced from the aircrafts code letters.
